Требуемый опыт работы: 3–6 лет

Полная занятость, гибкий график

Datalore is a web-based tool for working with scientific notebooks. There are already several million Jupyter notebooks on public code hosting services, and this number doubles each year. As the number of data scientists using notebooks for their daily tasks grows, so too does the need for tooling that makes working with the notebooks efficient. With this ever-increasing amount of data, the need for cloud computing is becoming more immediate. Datalore looks to address these problems by providing the same quality of user experience offered by JetBrains desktop IDEs to those who work with code using scientific notebooks in their browsers, with computation taking place in the cloud.

We are looking for a product manager to oversee the development of Datalore. Our ideal candidate is either an aspiring product manager with a strong background in data science, machine learning, and project management, or an experienced product manager with some knowledge of data science who is willing to deepen their knowledge in this area.

Developing a tool for data scientists is a challenge because it requires learning the multitude of ways data science and machine learning engineering are performed in practice.

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for the development of Datalore.

  • Communicate with data scientists, ML engineers, and data engineers, generating and validating hypotheses based on their feedback.

  • Perform quantitative research and competitive analysis, and identify the best strategy for product development.

  • Work on the project’s backlog, which entails prioritizing tasks, controlling their implementation, and communicating with the development team.

We expect that you:

  • Have worked as a data scientist, ML engineer, or data engineer.
  • Understand the pain points and challenges of working with data.
  • Have experience in product management or project management.
  • Are able to look at the product you're developing from a market perspective and with due regard for the needs of users.
  • Have the ability to find common ground with the development team.
  • Are fluent in English.
  • Want to grow professionally in product management.

We offer:

  • Spacious comfortable office (open 24/7).

  • Competitive salary: determined individually, but above industry average.

  • Bonuses based on your performance.

  • Voluntary health insurance for employees, their spouse, and their children under age 18 (including dental insurance).

  • 5 weeks of paid vacation.

  • Full salary during sick leave.

  • Flexible work schedule.

  • Hot meals, free drinks, fruits, and snacks.

  • Office library with specialized work-related books and magazines.

  • Office gym (with washrooms), massage room, and a recreational zone.

  • Training, including English and German language classes.

  • Opportunities to travel to professional conferences in Europe and the US.

  • Job relocation help.
