• Design, development, integration, and porting of new features and components to a host-based, high availability, multi-platform, system-level, storage-related software product that involves multiple kernel and user-level operating system modules.
  

Job description:

• Serve as a software product senior developer within a six- to ten-person group that is a part of a global EMC PowerPath Development team located in Massachusetts, USA; Bangalore, India, and St.Petersburg, Russia
  

Principal duties and responsibilities:

• Review, analyze and debug existing Perl test scripts
• Establish Perl test best practices and document guidelines
• Optimize common test functionality into common functions
• Generate and review new test scripts and test framework scripts that are used across multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, Unix)

Required skills:

• Strong Perl experience to fulfill the duties above
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Self-sufficient in his/her work
• Strong English written skills followed by good oral skills
• Experience with test automation is a plus
